Kanoni
Kanoni is one of the most famous and picturesque Corfu sights. It lays 3 km on average from the center of Corfu town and is located next to the airport.
As legend has it, it was named by a French cannon battery-type that is left there by 1789. High up on a hill, there is the canon and from there you can see the Pontikonisi and the little church of Panagia Vlaherna, linked with the mainland with a narrow pathway.
