Garden of the People
The Garden of the People in Corfu is one of the gardens of the Palace of St. Michael and St. George and it is located at the end of the Spianada square, near the Municipal Gallery of Corfu.
This Garden is a terrace from which you have a wonderful panoramic view. From one side is the Old Fortress and Mandraki which is the port of the fortress and from the other are the mountains of the Greek mainland.
Next to it is a little church the Panagia Mandrakina (or Panagia Mandrakiou) which is painted with a characteristic red colour and follows another garden of the Palace of St. Michael and St. George called Boschetto.
