Monastry of St. Nikolaos O Kremastos or O Spilaiotis, borders on the steep slopes of Mount Arakynthos and overlooks the Aetolian lagoon, the Cave Byzantine Monastry of St Nikolaos on Mount Varasova, near Krioneri village and St.Nikolaos of Mikokista in Trixonida lake. It will be part of the European cultural Itinerary of Nikolaos Routes, which based on the values and deeds of Nicholas of Myra, known also by the name of Saint Nicholas of Bari.
